Helping Patients in Need
Many of our patients experience financial challenges while receiving the medical care they need to become well again. Even with health insurance, most people will have numerous out-of-pocket costs, such as co-pays, medications, insurance premiums, and more. The costs can quickly become an overwhelming burden.
Vail Health’s Patient Assistance Funds can help those in need with non-medical expenses, such as mortgage or rent payments, utility bills, car payments or repair, groceries, etc. This short-term assistance can help put their minds and hearts at ease, giving them the ability to focus on what is most crucial – restoring their health and well-being.
We offer two different funds:
- Vail Health Patient Assistance Fund: To apply or learn more, contact us at patientassistancefund@vailhealth.org or (970) 479-7283
- Shaw Cancer Center Patient Assistance Fund: To apply or learn more, contact Erin Perejda at erin.perejda@vailhealth.org or (970) 569-7606
These funds are made possible through generous donations from our benefactors.
